AAMBAA 2013
The 2013 and 2014 AAMBAA classes contain one of the largest groups of African, Caribbean and African American students of any business school in the world.
About Us
Wharton’s African-American MBA Association (AAMBAA) seeks to promote and support the professional, academic, and social development of its members.
Founded in 1973 as The Black MBA Association (and subsequently renamed AAMBAA in 1986), the organization was formed to augment the development of students of African descent at The Wharton School and to prepare them for roles of leadership throughout various sectors of society.
While its mission remains the same, AAMBAA has evolved greatly over the years. The current AAMBAA classes contain one of the largest groups of African, Caribbean and African American students of any business school in the world and boast an extremely diverse membership.
Our Mission
The mission of AAMBAA is to support the continued achievement of students of African descent and to provide extensive resources to foster the successful progression from prospective students to Wharton alumni.
